Blog #1!!!!!! New Music for the New Year

It's about time I made a blog, so you can get to know the rapper behind the tracks your bumping. Psh, no need to brag, in due time these skills will speak for themselves. And that time is coming very, very soon.

This blog will operate as the place to find links, announcements, and downloads for all the music I will be hitting you with in the coming months and years. I'm really excited to establish my work and I've all ready got a lot cooking. I've been working with Thaniil Theoharis of Trilogy Untold, a hip-hop/electronica trio based in NYC. We have so far recorded 6 really diverse tracks at Listen Vision Studios in Washington, DC, (shout out to DJ BOOM) and another 3 will be recorded tomorrow. Yes, Tomorrow. That's why I'm up at 4:56am.

I'm also working on some more mainstream sounding hip-hop material with California drummer/rockstar and hiphop producer Faux Real. When I tell you that this is good, it's only because every single person I've shown this to has been unable to walk away without getting the song stuck in their head. If you dislike this you must also dislike: warm sun on a winter day; going to parties where you know people; living in a country other than Haiti.

The Trilogy Untold Mixtape will be released sometime around March, I'll keep you posted on that. Another single will be released before then, and likely a track produced by Faux Real. Sometime around then I will release my own mixtape, with the Trilogy tracks, the Faux Real tracks, and some other songs as well depending on if I work with anyone else.

So who am I? Just a Jersey born and raised half-Mexican half-Irish and Welsch college kid, I first wrote rap after 9/11, I've been writing consistently since 2005. I didn't start taking it really seriously till around mid 2007, and though I recorded a little in high school, I'd say that in the past few months it's been sounding really professional. I've finally got a stronger sense of who I am as an artist, and that is to be as honest, open, expressive, original, and dedicated as I can be. I'm a libertarian atheist, formerly anarchist satanist (So I've kinda chilled out), and I used to struggle with depression. Now I just struggle with what I think are the basic obstacles of life, and my music reflects an insightful and introspective view of life, philosophy, and politics.

This blog will feature not only music related updates but also interesting personal journals of sorts, including my take on political and social issues, significant things in my life, and whatever else I deem worthy of this blog. Please enjoy the incoming shipment of dry humor, overly intellectual political and social jokes, minor obsessions with certain movies, music, etc..(Ron Paul rEVOLution!!!). very serious essays about things, and much much more!!!
